After a bit of a hiatus, the ACRL AI Interest Group monthly discussions are back! Join us on May 12th, 1–2pm EST via Zoom for a conversation on AI and professional development with our guest, Bree Kirsch, PhD, Head of Learning and Engagement at Miami University Libraries.
Bree will share resources and frameworks for AI literacy, including Dr. Kara Kennedy's framework and Teaching with AI by Bowen and Watson. She'll also lead the group in open discussion around questions like: How do you keep up with AI developments? How have you used AI in your own work and scholarship? What would most support your professional growth in this area?
This is also a great chance to get to know Bree, who will be starting her term as a Co-Convenor of our Interest Group this July! As the Past Convenor, I'll be stepping down, and we could not be more excited to welcome Bree as the new Incoming Convenor!
