📢 Announcement: Naomi C. Broering Latinx Heritage Grant 📢
The Medical Library Association (MLA) is pleased to announce the Naomi C. Broering Latinx Heritage Grant. This grant, endowed by MLA Past-President Naomi C. Broering, awards $1,000 annually to a person of Latinx ethnicity or someone with an interest in Latinx community information services. Applications are due by January 31st, 2025.
Eligibility:
- Must be a member of MLA.
- Must be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States or Canada.
- Open to recent graduates or experienced librarians in health sciences libraries.
- Applicants should have a significant interest in medical information services using the latest technologies.
Application Requirements:
- Detailed description of the professional development and/or research activity for which support is requested.
- Statement of interest or previous activity in medical informatics or data management.
- Itemization of the financial support requested.
- Current curriculum vitae or resume.
