Charge: To support current and former residents to network, share their expertise, gain national leadership and service experience, and prepare for transitioning to post-residency positions through: a) advancing resident education and residents’ professional success through inter-collegiate collaboration; b) creating programming and resources that center residents; c) advocating for current residents through a liaison relationship with the ACRL Diversity Alliance; d) providing opportunities to engage in research on residencies; and e) centralizing information regarding program availability.

    A member of the LOEX Conference Planning committee asked me to share their call for poster presentation submissions for LOEX 2023 (held in Harrisburg, PA from May 11-13) with residents and other RIG members. Submissions are due on January 30th.

    Here are the details:

    Poster Presentation Submissions 

    • Successful poster proposals reflect elements of one (or more) of the conference tracks, should visually convey research in at least one (1) of these areas: reference, library instruction and/or information literacy.
    • More information regarding tracks, eligibility, format, submission forms, timeline, selection criteria, and presenter benefits can be found at https://www.loexconference.org/proposals/
