Our two speakers are Amanda Madden and Taylor Soja. Dr. Madden is an Assistant Professor in the History and Art History Departments at George Mason University, where her teaching and research interests include Renaissance and Early Modern Italy, women and gender, and digital and spatial history. Dr. Madden also has a joint appointment to George Mason's Roy Rosenzweig Center for History and New Media. Dr. Soja, an Assistant Professor at Illinois State University, focuses on Modern Britain and Imperial History, material culture, and digital history.

Drs. Madden and Soja will each speak about their personal experiences doing DH work with library support. There will be time for Q&A at the end of the hour. All registrants will receive a Zoom link the morning of the event.
