SEEKING LIBRARY WORKERS TO PARTICIPATE IN SURVEY ON

    PERCEPTIONS OF IMMIGRANT ACCULTURATION

We invite library workers in the U.S. to participate in a 20-minute survey and 20-30 follow-up interview study. The data from the study will contribute to the improved knowledge and tools to strengthen library outreach to immigrant communities. Interview participants will earn a $25 Tango card to be distributed in 2-4 weeks, and interviews will be transcribed and audio recorded. Participation is optional and completely voluntary. Responses will be kept confidential, and participants may opt out of the study at any time. The researchers will take all measures to mitigate the risk of data breach. There are no conflicts of interest involved with this study. The research is funded by the Institute for Museum and Library Services. The study's design has been approved by the Institutional Review Board of the University of Maryland (UMD IRB Study # 2038172-1).
