Library Technology Career Jumpstart Program @ NC State University Libraries
Are you a current or soon-to-be library school student interested in a career in library technology? Are you looking for ways to improve your tech skills, but aren't quite sure where to start?
Applications for the NC State University Libraries'
Library Technology Career Jumpstart Program 2022 are now being accepted!
The Library Technology Career Jumpstart Program will be offered virtually for the third year in a row from the NC State University Libraries during the week of August 1-5, 2022. The Jumpstart Program is a
free, immersive, weeklong virtual experience that will help to prepare first-year library school students for a career in library technology upon graduation.
Participants will...
- develop an ongoing relationship with a mentor
- glimpse "a day in the life" of tech librarians
- attend technical workshops
- network with professionals at top institutions
- build technical portfolios
- learn how to apply and interview for technical positions in libraries
For more information about the Jumpstart Program, the NC State University Libraries, and to apply, visit
