At the University of Minnesota Libraries, we are searching for a Library Assistant 3 (Evening). I'm sharing here because this position would be a nice opportunity for someone to gain exposure to systematic reviews and other evidence synthesis methods. Relevant text from the job description:
● Assist librarians in technical systematic review work, including deduplication of search results, file cleanup. amd finding full text of included studies (e.g., utilizing interlibrary loan)
● Perform annual or bi-annual reporting on statistics, including information about service users (e.g., Departments and Colleges) and research output, and time spent of each review according to hashtags
● Managing inquiries from the shared service email account and updating and editing the systematic review service website
● Help facilitate service and training evaluation and assessment as determined by chairs
● Provide support for the Evidence Synthesis Institute including communicating with applicants and attendees, administrative support, and updating the Pressbooks site with new course materials
If you share jobs with your community or know of anyone who might be interested, please pass this along. Please let me know if you have any questions.
With appreciation,
Amy Riegelman
