Subject: [apala-l] Letter to Asian Diasporic Library Workers
To: APALA
APALA members,
In light of recent events and the anti-Black racism occuring in our communities, Desmond Wong, Anastasia Chiu, Deborah Yun Caldwell, Charlotte Roh, and I wrote a "
Letter to Asian Diasporic Library Workers
," published with
up//root
, a we here publication. We hope this letter resonates with you as we continue to concurrently navigate the COVID-19 pandemic and the ongoing fight for racial justice. We, by all means, do not have it all figured out, but we offer some starting points to help us work in solidarity with our Black and Brown communities.
Please share as appropriate.
Stay safe and take care,
Jessica
