  • 1.  Late October check-in

    Posted 23 days ago

    Hello everyone,

I had intentions of posting something in early October, but the month go away from me.

I've enjoyed seeing some increased posting and discussion on this board recently. I hope we can keep the momentum going.

October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM).  If anyone here has been involved in programming or events related to NDEAM, please feel free to share your experience here.  Have you done research, been published, or presented on a topic? Please tell us about it!

November is just around the corner.  Does your library or institution have any special events or displays going on in November?

Our department has been reading the Disability Justice Audit Tool this year. It poses thoughtful questions and topics, which has helped create some interesting discussion. I wish it was a little more fleshed out with definitions and examples. It might not be introductory material, but I do recommend it!
