ACRL Artificial Intelligence (AI) Interest Group

Greetings Colleagues,

I am reaching out on behalf of my co-presenters and myself to invite you to participate in a survey. Although we conducted a similar survey last year, we are interested in learning how the needs, challenges, and innovations prompted by AI technologies in our field have evolved. 

Community College Librarians wear so many hats: is "AI Expert" the latest? While Generative AI can save time and aid in certain tasks, it has upended research, information literacy instruction, academic integrity, reference services and other areas in which librarians are often called upon to lead. 

Your input through this survey will contribute significantly to our collective understanding of the current landscape of academic libraries and the challenges faced by librarians in community college and academic settings. By sharing your perspectives, you'll help inform future initiatives and resources designed to enhance the quality of library services and support across the board.
