    Happy Wednesday!

ACRL Evidence Synthesis Methods Interest Group (ESMIG) is excited to get going with our learning this academic year. Thanks to all who participated in the survey earlier this spring. We heard your ideas and hope to try a couple of new things this year. We are also going to try alternating the event days and times this year.

To start us off this Fall, we will host a journal club session on Wednesday September 28th at 12 pm Pacific Time (3 pm Eastern Time). Our incoming convener Aimee Sgourakis will facilitate a discussion about the following article on protocols for scoping reviews: Peters, M. D., Godfrey, C., McInerney, P., Khalil, H., Larsen, P., Marnie, C., ... & Munn, Z. (2022). Best practice guidance and reporting items for the development of scoping review protocols. JBI evidence synthesis, 20(4), 953-968. http://doi.org/10.11124/JBIES-21-00242

I know I have seen an uptick in support for scoping reviews, so this is a very timely topic hopefully for us all. Zoom information below.
