    The Business Librarian supports the University goals to be excellent in inter-disciplinary research and graduate highly educated individuals at all degree levels. Working under the leadership of the Research Services Lead, position responsibilities include providing effective delivery of business research instruction and consultations to students, staff and faculty; engaging in academic outreach to the UWM Lubar College of Business and assigned departments; and contributing to programs that educate graduate students and faculty on issues in scholarly communication. The position provides excellent customer service in a professional manner, serves as a resource to others, and is a model representative of UWM and the Libraries. We welcome applications from newly graduated and early career librarians.

    *This position requires work to be performed in-person, onsite, at the Golda Meir Library with flexibility for telecommuting up to 2 days a week, after a successful onboarding period.

    The starting salary for this position is $48,870. The University of Wisconsin System offers a comprehensive benefits package to employees. The University contributes to the cost of several benefit plans. Leave packages: 176 hours vacation, 176 hours Sick leave (during the first 18 months) (96 hours thereafter) 36 hours personal holiday. This leave is granted on a fiscal year basis, July 1-June 30. Depending on start date and percentage of appointment, leave may be pro-rated.
