    The NC State University Libraries is hiring two engineering librarians! We welcome applicants with a range of experiences, including those new to the profession.

    Come join the NC State University Libraries Engineering team, a group that spans between the Research Engagement and Collections & Research Strategy departments. We are hiring a Research Librarian for Engineering (Research Engagement) and Collections & Research Librarian for Engineering (Collections & Research Strategy). Both positions collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver innovative, responsive library services to faculty and students. They both serve on cross-departmental teams to support interdisciplinary teaching and research initiatives such as information discovery, data literacy, entrepreneurship, open research, research impact, public science, research data management, or data visualization.

    The key distinction between the two positions is either focusing primarily on designing and delivering instruction for engineering students (Research Librarian for Engineering) or focusing on leading collaborative collection development and management in engineering (Collections & Research Librarian for Engineering)

    Minimum starting salary: $67,000 annually

    This position is based in North Carolina. This position is eligible for flexible hours with a hybrid work environment. This position will require frequent onsite work.
