Charge: To support current and former residents to network, share their expertise, gain national leadership and service experience, and prepare for transitioning to post-residency positions through: a) advancing resident education and residents’ professional success through inter-collegiate collaboration; b) creating programming and resources that center residents; c) advocating for current residents through a liaison relationship with the ACRL Diversity Alliance; d) providing opportunities to engage in research on residencies; and e) centralizing information regarding program availability.

    The submission system for ISIC 2026 is now open! You can find it under 'Submit' on the ISIC 2026 webpage.

    Additionally, we are extending the due date for all submissions from 8 October to 15 October 2025.

    We will be sending out invitations for reviewers in the next couple weeks.

    Reminders that the reviewer workshop has been planned for 16 September (please see below for details) and that information about the Doctoral workshop is now available under 'Call for Papers' on the webpage.

    Reviewer Workshop

    A reviewer workshop will be offered on 16 September 2025. This workshop is intended for early career academics or doctoral students who might be new to academic reviewing. The workshop is hands-on and will include reviewing a brief piece of work, as well as discussing the principles of reviewing and how to write a review. To prepare, please read the extended abstract listed below. No other preparation is needed.

    Those who have taken the workshop will receive an invitation to serve as a reviewer for ISIC 2026. However, attendance at the workshop is not required to be a reviewer.
