Hello,
I wanted to share a new LibGuide Iowa ACRL has created to provide a virtual display of LGBTQ+ books that are available for children and families at academic libraries in Iowa. These books are often the targets of book challenges and bans in school and public libraries. We have the opportunity to provide supportive community spaces to families who would like access to these books. More academic libraries are adding their collections, and we hope to continue allying with our public and teacher librarians dealing with book bans.
