    Dear Colleagues,

    The Binghamton University Libraries is delighted to invite creative, innovative and energetic leaders to apply for their Head of Reader Services position. The Head of Reader Services is responsible for the general strategic direction and management of the Reader Services departments housed in library locations across Binghamton’s multiple campuses. 


    The Head of Reader Services provides advocacy and leadership for circulation, physical collections management, information commons, reserves and resource sharing as they are practiced uniquely in each library location. Collaborating with a supportive team of Assistant and Associate Heads, the Head of Reader Services will help to establish goals, objectives, priorities and performance standards to ensure that the department provides consistent and outstanding services that contribute to student and faculty success at the University.
