    Hi everyone,

I'm Senior Program & Engagement Officer at the OCLC Research Library Partnership. As part of my role, I facilitate the Metadata Managers Focus Group, who held discussions this spring about Getting ready for AI.  We also hosted a great session at ALA 2024, Transforming Metadata: Getting Ready for AI, featuring Hannah Scates Kettler (Iowa State) and Charlene Chou (NYU).

I'm interested in how GLAM communities are adopting AI to improve metadata workflows, especially where it intersects with the work we've done to build linked data and knowledge graphs.

    Hi Richard,

Welcome! We are so glad you are here! Thanks for sharing about some of the great work you and your colleagues have been doing around organizing AI discussions and events, and your interests. I'm looking forward to checking out those links. Heather and I will begin posting discussion topics (and planning events!) towards the end of October, so you should receive more info soon as we get our feet under us as co-convenors.  Looking forward to more discussion soon!

    ~Ginny
