Hello! This is my first post to a community board seeking ideas and suggestions. Just a little background, first - I am an Access Services manager at a small academic library for an art and design college in Detroit, MI. Recently we began offering ILL (World Cat) and MelCat as interlibrary loan services to our patrons and we're trying to work out how we can get our patrons using these services in higher numbers in the upcoming semesters.
I'm wondering how other small academic libraries have successfully promoted their interlibrary loan services to their communities? We have a pretty good informational page set up on our website currently, and our marketing and social media staff person is pretty skilled at putting together promotional posts for various events and services we've offered in the past, but beyond that, what outreach activities, events or promotional strategies have worked to increase your usage statistics?
TIA!
