    Hello all,

I'm hoping this message reaches some more seasoned librarians as it pertains to a cataloging librarian who died in 1996. Stephen Lloyd Sorensen was born in Oakland, California in 1942 and lived most of his life in the Bay Area. He was a librarian in California for more than 20 years so I'm hoping someone remembers him. He was also one of the founders of "Save Our Human Rights" in San Francisco, was involved with the Gay Switchboard in Berkeley, and was an AIDS caregiver.  He moved to San Antonio, Texas to become the head of cataloging at the University of Texas at San Antonio. In San Antonio, he was elected to the Unity Foundation board, which oversaw the Gay & Lesbian Community Center in San Antonio.

If you or someone you know remembers Stephen, I would love to hear from you (feel free to forward this message). Thank you for reading.
