    The ACRL-IS Information Literacy Best Practices Committee aims to highlight programs that embody best practices from the Characteristics of Programs of Information Literacy that Illustrate Best Practices: A Guideline.

    Each year, the committee selects an information literacy program in an academic library that exemplifies one or more of the characteristics from the best practices. The committee  strives  to highlight programs in libraries that work with underserved populations (such as HBCUs, Community College and Tribal Colleges).  When a program is selected, the committee conducts a short interview with staff members, via either virtual meeting or email. The interview is traditionally featured in the Spring Instruction Newsletter and on the Information Literacy Best Practices Committee Website.     The committee is actively searching for programs to feature in upcoming years.  If you would like to nominate your own or another program to be highlighted on the ILBP Website and IS Newsletter please complete this form.
