Description:
Sponsored by the STS Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee, this virtual roundtable invites librarians to engage in facilitated discussions focused on inclusive practice across our work. Topics include inclusive instruction, outreach, programming, and accessibility, equitable collection development, challenges and opportunities in advancing EDI, and the experiences of library workers across ranks and statuses. Attendees will join breakout rooms on one of the topics listed above and engage in discussion with peers on their practice. This session provides a collaborative space to share perspectives, challenges, and exchange practical approaches to EDI in library contexts. This event will not be recorded.
For any questions or concerns, please reach out to Jeanne Hoover (hooverj@ecu.edu) and Amanda He (ah6514@nyu.edu), Co-Chairs of the ACRL STS EDI Committee.
