    Hi all,

Do you work on systematic reviews? Are you interested in working on systematic reviews? If either answer is yes, then you might have thoughts about how to estimate and communicate about the work load involved. How do you set realistic expectations for how much time and effort is involved in doing a systematic review? Please come share your story and hear from colleagues at the Health Science Interest Group's second First Friday Forum on February 4th at 9PT/10MT/11CT/12ET.

No registration is required - Zoom information at the bottom of this email.

We will start with a discussion of an article, "It takes longer than you think: librarian time spent on systematic review tasks," and a tool for estimating the time for systematic review tasks, PredicTER.

    Article link: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/29632442/
    Tool link: https://predicter.org/

After the discussion of the article and the tool, it will be time to chat about setting realistic expectations for systematic review projects. Share with other health science librarians new ideas on how to communicate how much work and time it can take to do a systematic review.

If you have an experience about setting expectations for systematic reviews that you would like to share (whether it is a horror story, a success story, or somewhere in between!), please contact Greg Laynor (gregory.laynor@jefferson.edu). Email your story to Greg and it will be read (anonymously as requested) during our First Friday Forum.

If you are interested in leading a First Friday Forum for HSIG, please contact Anna Ferri (aferri@roseman.edu).

    Regards,

    Anna Ferri
