In this study, we hope to learn about COVID-related information needs, the processes and sources people use to seek relevant information, the factors that increase or decrease motivation to look for and make use of information, and the barriers people encountered in securing relevant, trustworthy, and actionable information to help manage long COVID. Study findings will be used to develop specific guidance on crafting future information strategies that better equip people with the information they need to overcome personal health crises and to prepare for future pandemics or epidemics.
Thank you for considering participating in this study. Please email our Principal Investigator, Dr. Beth St. Jean (bstjean@umd.edu) if you have any questions about this study.
Sincerely,
The University of Maryland, College Park Research Team
