Charge: To support current and former residents to network, share their expertise, gain national leadership and service experience, and prepare for transitioning to post-residency positions through: a) advancing resident education and residents’ professional success through inter-collegiate collaboration; b) creating programming and resources that center residents; c) advocating for current residents through a liaison relationship with the ACRL Diversity Alliance; d) providing opportunities to engage in research on residencies; and e) centralizing information regarding program availability.

    Summer 2026 Junior Fellows Program at the Library of Congress
    Paid, Onsite and Remote Opportunities

     

    Applications are now being accepted for the Library of Congress the Summer 2026 Junior Fellows Program (JFP). This paid, full-time summer internship enables undergraduate, graduate students, and recent graduates to experience and interpret the collections, events, and services of the world's largest library. The deadline to apply is January 2, 2026.

     

    We are including a How To Apply Guide to assist applicants in submitting their materials for consideration. To learn more about JFP, understand eligibility requirements, review project descriptions, and get answers to frequently asked questions, please visit the Junior Fellows Program page.
