    Hello everyone,

The School of Information Science is excited to announce the launch of our new Certificate in Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion. This is a 12-credit hour graduate certificate that may be completed concurrently with another degree (MLIS, Specialist, PhD, etc.) or on its own. This certificate is relevant for current students and alums across all areas of concentrations and is designed to prepare students to better recognize and work towards necessary systemic needs in the workplace while becoming equipped to support and meet the needs of the populations students will serve in libraries, archives, schools, museums, and multiple other areas across information management fields.

We will be hosting an information session for anyone interested in pursuing the EDI Certificate on Wednesday, October 27 at 6pm. The information session will be conducted virtually via Zoom (link provided below). This session will cover the certificate requirements, information on completing it concurrently with another degree or on its own, and it will give students a chance to ask any questions they may have about the certificate.

I hope to see many of you there!
