    We're excited to be offering a Trauma Informed Care Training Symposium on Friday, March 31st. This will be a day of free virtual engagement with and training on trauma informed care. This event is intended for educators and health care professionals and those at the intersection. Participants will have the option to register for one or all of the events on March 31st.

    The Symposium will consist of three sessions:

    1. Trauma Informed Care Training with Nisha Mody

    2. Utilizing NLM resources for Trauma Informed Care with Alexis Ellsworth-Kopkowski and Kelleen Maluski

    3. Trauma Informed Care Yoga with Juhee Kumar

    Registration is required for each session you will attend. The Trauma Informed Care Training with Nisha Mody has a cap of 100 participants and the other two sessions are capped at 500.

    Nisha Mody (she/her) is a Feminist Healing Coach, Writer, Speaker, and Library Advocate. She is passionate about making spaces trauma-informed, relational, and meaningful. She worked as the Associate Director of the Network of the National Library of Medicine for the Pacific Southwest Region and as a Health & Life Sciences Librarian at UCLA. Nisha is a professional speaker for organizations and provides anti-oppressive life coaching in 1:1 and group settings. She values care, compassion, curiosity, humility, relationship, and liberation.     Juhee Kumar (she/they) is a yoga guide based in Denver, CO, USA. Rooted in play, embodiment, and choice, Juhee focuses on co-creating and sustaining healing spaces for QTBIPOC & youth. As an intuitive spirit on a brave quest for knowing, Juhee embraces their past Master's education in Counseling Psychology and Satya Yoga Cooperative's 200 Hour BIPOC Yoga Teacher Training to dream up what the process of community care could look like. Juhee enjoys teaching accessible community pop up classes, as well as community trauma informed yoga series.
