New Featured Content! The Aztec Codices Collection

The new Aztec Codices Collection, featured in The Latino American Experience database, explores Aztec culture and history through a focus on Aztec codices. It includes imagery from a number of Aztec codices, largely from the 16th century, that depict both the history and culture of the Aztec Empire. The imagery is accompanied by scholarly commentary that analyzes and provides contextual information on each piece of art, helping readers to understand not only the pictorial writing system of the Aztecs, but also what life in the Aztec Empire was like, from the point of view of the Aztec people themselves.

This month we invite you to explore this unique collection on our Featured Content page: April Featured Content • ABC-CLIO
