Project Outcome helps academic libraries understand and share the impact of essential library services and programs. It is designed to give libraries simple tools and supportive resources to help turn better data into better libraries.

This community is for Project Outcome users at academic libraries to discuss their use of outcome measurement, ask each other about patron engagement strategies, and further the thoughts and conversations that begin with acrl.projectoutcome.org.
Here, you can find various threads to ask and answer questions, start your own conversations, or further your own learning about how libraries are using outcome measurement to improve their patron-focused programs and services.

  • 1.  Footer information on survey

    Posted Apr 01, 2024 01:10 PM

Hello, I'm creating an immediate instruction survey. When I looked at the preview survey in the Resources section, at the bottom it says, "This survey is part of Project Outcome, ..." etc. and has the acrl.projecoutcome.org URL. In the survey I just created, it has, "This survey is part of the Public Library Association's Project Outcome,..." etc. and has projectoutcome.org as the URL. I'm wondering if I did something wrong to have the PLA information instead of ACRL. Does anyone know?

    Thank you!

    Hello,

I just created my first survey for use post-instruction.  I too noticed the reference to Public Libraries in the footer.  Does anyone know if the footer can be edited?

    Hi Judi,

I ended up emailing Gena about this directly and she said that Project Outcome for Public Libraries was funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and since Project Outcome for Academic Libraries is based on that work, the footer has to remain. She said you can add a custom header and footer in addition to that one, but it sounds like that one can't be edited.
