    Dear Colleagues,

The Association of College & Research Libraries Residency Interest Group Assessment Team is conducting a research project to determine which factors lead to successful post-MLIS residency programs, as well as how this success is assessed and measured.

We invite all current or former residents and residency program affiliates (program coordinators, mentors, supervisors, etc.) to participate. We welcome responses related to residencies in any type of library or archival setting. Any number of people from your institution may respond, so feel free to share.

The survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete. Participation is completely voluntary, and you may exit the survey at any time.

The research project is affiliated with University of Pittsburgh. Participation is voluntary and participants will remain anonymous. No identifying information will be collected that could connect an individual with their survey responses. Raw data will only be accessible to the research team. Researchers will create a de-identified data set to be shared in an open data repository for future studies on residencies and residents. There is no compensation for participating.

If you have any questions about this survey or the study, please email Staci Ross (str51@pitt.edu) or Lauren Stieglitz (stieglitz@ualberta.ca).
