Hello,
Just a reminder that we are seeking librarians and other information professionals who do evidence synthesis work in the United States of America to participate in a survey. This survey will close on June 6. You must be 18 or older to participate in the study. Due to the nature of this project, we are not interested in evidence synthesis workers who primarily do this work as self-employed contractors.
The purpose of the research is to better understand the evidence synthesis work performed by librarians and other information professionals and how librarians and information professionals who do this work are supported at their jobs. If you participate in this project, you will complete a survey regarding your professional work in evidence synthesis. It will take you approximately 15 minutes to participate in the research. You qualify to participate in the research if you perform evidence synthesis work as part of your professional job responsibilities.
There are no anticipated risks to participation in this study beyond what you might experience in your everyday life. We do not expect potential benefits to be experienced at an individual level, but hope that the dissemination of the completed research will improve the understanding of the work of information professionals who provide evidence synthesis, which may benefit you in the future. Participants in this study can enter an email, recorded separately from their survey results, to be notified if their email is randomly chosen to receive one of three $25 gift cards to Bookshop.org supplied by the researchers.
Participation is voluntary, but we hope you will choose to be part of this project. Please follow this link to start the survey.
Thank you for your time and your participation.
