filtering for RCTs in Scopus

  • 1.  filtering for RCTs in Scopus

    Hello, colleagues!

I'm working with two students doing systematic searching in several databases on the same topic. They're specifically interested in locating just RCTs, so they're using the filters in the Cochrane Technical Supplement for CINAHL and PubMed, but are struggling with Scopus, in which they're being overwhelmed with search results that don't fit that publication type. Does anyone know of any filters that have been built for RCTs in Scopus, or have home-grown strategies they use?

     Thanks for your help!

    -Hilary
