The ACRL DA Committee would like to gather feedback from coordinators and members of RIG through a virtual town hall meeting on February 23, 2026 at 9 a.m. PT/10 a.m. MT/11 a.m. CT/12 p.m. ET. The one-hour discussion will be facilitated by the co-chairs, Dr. Regina Gong, and Dr. Silvia Vong. Breakout rooms for discussion will be set-up for coordinators and RIG members. We will using the following questions to guide discussions with each group:
- What is your relationship to the ACRL Diversity Alliance Membership or residency programs (past or present) at your institution?
- How do you envision the Alliance serving and supporting residency coordinators, residents and/or residency programs going forward?
- If the DA changed its name and charge, what opportunities, questions, and/or concerns might impact residents?
- What recommendations should the Alliance make to institutions hosting residencies to ensure pipeline action towards permanent positions?
