    Hello everyone,

For our last ACRL ESM-IG event of the 2022 calendar year, we are planning a search club. I (Zahra) will host the event, which will be held on Tuesday December 13th at 10 am Pacific Time (1 pm Eastern Time). Below are some details to help you prepare for attending and participating in the search club event.

Search Topic: What is known about the impacts on happiness and wellbeing from spending time in nature?

If you haven't attended a Search Club event before, it is a good opportunity to discuss different approaches to systematic searching and learn from one anothers searches in a friendly environment. One person leads the session, but attendees are expected to create a draft search before the session so they can make a meaningful contribution to the discussion and collectively we can see a variety of search strategy approaches. For this particular session, we ask that you use any other database (on any interface), but NOT PubMed.

Things to think about/discuss/share at the Search Club meeting include:

    • Your conceptual approach to the search
    • Choice of database
    • Choice of search terms
    • Choice of database limits (or not)
    • Choice of search filters (or not)
    • Size of initial results
    • Difficulties along the way and other observations

We look forward to seeing you all at the search club event on December 13th at 10 am PT.

Zahra Premji is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.
