    Hello everyone,

We are coming down to the final months of our committee's work! Natalie will be sharing notes from our meeting last week shortly.

At the meeting we discussed some changes to where a few items will reside on the document (you can see comments where I noted those changes) and chatted about our progress so far. There was a question about if there is a cutoff date for including information on the agenda - there is not a specific date, so if a new development of your section comes to light in March - please feel free to still add it to the document. I think this is especially important given the current administration.

I am sending along two links for our last two meetings as a committee (the agenda is due at the beginning of April):

Please fill these out by next Thursday, January 30, 2025 end of the day.

Here is a copy of the draft once again: ACRL Legislative Agenda, 2025-2026 - DRAFT

Please let me know if you have any questions for me! Thank you for all of your work so far on this committee!

    Hi all,

Once again, I am having trouble logging into ALA Connect.

Once I have access again, I will upload the notes to the our community notes.

    Hi everyone,

Thank you for those of you who filled out the Doodle Polls for our final two meetings as a committee.

    Here are the dates:
February 20 at 2:00pm EST/1:00pm CST / Here is the Zoom link: https://udel.zoom.us/j/98504455505
March 18 at 1:00pm EST/12:00pm CST / Here is the Zoom link: https://udel.zoom.us/j/97596578756

I'll send out reminders a few days beforehand.

Things are changing quite rapidly with this current administration, so it's okay to not have current information in the document by the February meeting. However, we will want to make sure that we have up to date information by the March meeting and our April 1 deadline. Feel free to post links and information as you see it in your sections.

Thank you all for your work. This is immensely important in our current political climate.
