Dear Chapter Leaders,
ACRL currently offers the ACRL Chapter Speakers Bureau, free of charge to Chapters. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, many of these visits took place in-person. Since the pandemic, these visits have been conducted virtually for Chapters.
As ACRL faces decreased revenues and budget constraints, the ACRL Board of Directors will be reviewing a request that ACRL only provide support for virtual Chapter speaker visits. Nothing will change on your end when it comes to submitting the request via the online form. You will still have the option to request the ACRL Vice-President, President, and/or Past President for your events.
After the Board completes its vote in June, the decision will be posted here.
