    Apologies for cross-posting

    ----

Registration is now open for the 2024 Canadian Health Libraries Association (CHLA/ABSC) conference, Disruptive & Diverse from June 11– June 14, 2024.

Join us for the 2024 Canadian Health Libraries Association annual conference! The early-bird rate is in effect until May 10, 2024. Reduced pricing is also available for library technicians, students, those who are retired or unemployed, and equity-denied groups.

The full program has been released and there are numerous sessions related to Evidence Synthesis, such as how to involve undergraduates, project management, dealing with growing demand for support, and professional development support for librarians providing ES.

The conference features three great keynotes:  brain cancer survivor, former nurse, and Broadway performer, Catherine Wreford; writer and activist, Nora Loreto; and Joe Curnow, a community organizer and academic involved with Millennium for All, whose work focuses on building power to address the crises of austerity, securitization, and censorship in public libraries. See the conference website for more information on the keynote speakers, local tours available to conference attendees, and the city of Winnipeg.

The CHLA conference begins the evening of Tuesday June 11th with a joint reception with the True North Science Bootcamp conference, which is being hosted in Winnipeg this year from June 9th to June 11th.  The CHLA conference wraps up on Friday June 14th.

We hope to see you there!
