    Hello ANSS members! The 2027 Nominating Committee is building a slate of nominees for the 2027 ALA elections, including the following positions:

    Vice-Chair/Chair-Elect (3-year term)
    Secretary (2-year term)
    Member-at-Large (2-year term)

    Being involved in the ANSS Executive Committee is a great leadership opportunity and a wonderful way to connect with fellow social sciences librarians. Position responsibilities are outlined in the ANSS Manual for Officers, Chairs, and Committee Members.

    If you are interested in running for office or would like to suggest a member for nomination, please contact me directly at mimmo@asu.edu. I'm happy to answer any questions about the positions or the nomination process.

    The deadline for candidate consents is September 11, 2026.
