    Hi all,

ASERL is hosting a Library Tech Immersion Conference held August 7-9th at the University of Alabama, Birmingham (UAB).  We were able to add room, so I have some extra spaces for other libraries to attend.

This intimate event fosters genuine connections and deep dives into the future of technology through interactive immersive workshops.

Here are some interesting things happening during the conference
    • The University of Arizona is flying a robot to the event and will showcase how libraries can utilize one to assist students.  We will also have a library who has purchased a robot, who will talk about the pros and cons
    • We will have intensive workshops in 4 areas; instructional design, prompt engineering, AI an podcasting
    • The instructional design will have a "hologram" component and how to incorporate this without breaking the bank.

More information can be found here at https://atechcon.org/ and the early bird registration ends June 30th.  If you know people who want to come and need more time,  let me know.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions
