    Hello, ANSS members!

    My name is Melissa Prescott and I am the new ANSS Currents editor. I wish to express my gratitude to Sarah Dahlen who served in this capacity for the past several years, and who leaves big shoes to fill!  

    It is time to send us your materials for the Fall 2026 issue of ANSS Currents:

    • Committee chairs, discussion group leaders, and liaisons: Please send your reports!
    • Members: Do you have professional news, including publications, presentations, honors, job changes, or current research projects? We would love to recognize your work.
    • Short articles are welcome on all topics of interest to the ANSS community; please contact me with article proposals.

    Consult the Guide for Authors for descriptions of article types and other general guidelines for preparing your materials.

    Please send your materials to me at mkprescott@stcloudstate.edu by Wednesday, Sept. 2. I apologize for a slightly shortened turnaround time as I get a handle on this new role. I do appreciate your patience and look forward to your submissions.
