ACRL Artificial Intelligence (AI) Interest Group

Greetings, ACRL AI Discussion Group membership!  Ginny and I are excited to share the agenda for our November Group Meetup, to be held on Tuesday, November 19th, 2024, form 2:30 to 3:30.   You can join the zoom at this link: https://mit.zoom.us/j/96050894366?from=addon

We will plan a minimum of one monthly meetup for all of us to come together and talk AI, and accordingly, our first meetup in November will be heavily focused on group discussion around what we hope to share, learn, and take away from our time together over this inaugural year.

Our agenda for November is as follows:

• Welcome and Introduction (Ginny and Heather - 5 minutes) - Share ACRL and conveners' values, invite group members to contribute group values and norms.

• What to Expect Over the Next Year (Ginny - 5 minutes) - Share our commitments as co-conveners, as well as a rough timeline for planned discussions and activities.

• Group Poll and Chat Reflection (Heather - 5 minutes) - Invite group members to share hopes, reflections, requests, and concerns through polls and chat, as a warmup.

• Open Discussion and Input Gathering (Ginny and Heather - 20 minutes) - Continue the discussion around hopes, reflections, requests, and concerns, in an open discussion format.

• Preview of December Meeting (Ginny - 5 minutes) - Share our December Meetup topic, wherein we'll invite the co-convenors of the ACRL AI Competencies Task Force to share their work.

• Closing Reflection (Heather - 5 minutes)
