Charge: To support current and former residents to network, share their expertise, gain national leadership and service experience, and prepare for transitioning to post-residency positions through: a) advancing resident education and residents’ professional success through inter-collegiate collaboration; b) creating programming and resources that center residents; c) advocating for current residents through a liaison relationship with the ACRL Diversity Alliance; d) providing opportunities to engage in research on residencies; and e) centralizing information regarding program availability.

    NEW Submission Deadline:  May 1, 2023

    The Academic Library Association of Ohio (ALAO) Conference Planning committee invites you to submit proposals for the 49th ALAO Annual Conference. Having spent the past few years radically adapting library services during the pandemic, library professionals are now actively exploring how to sustain a "new normal" for hybrid spaces, services, and collections where customer expectations have been transformed. 

    Conference Dates & Venues:

    Afternoon Virtual Mini-Conference (Friday, Oct 27, 2023): Zoom

    In-Person Conference Location (Friday, Nov 3, 2023): Nationwide Hotel and Conference Center, Lewis Center, OH
