Charge: The composition and the duties of the Board of Directors are defined in Article IX of the ACRL Bylaws: Board of Directors. The Board of Directors shall have general oversight and direction of the affairs of the Association. It shall conduct all business pertaining to the Association, and shall have authority to make decisions for the Association during the periods between meetings.

    ALA President Emily Drabinski announced a call for volunteers to serve on the ALA Core Values Working Groups.  Per Council Document #34, approved at the recent LibLearnX 2024 meeting, the ALA Executive Board will assign working groups, committees, or round tables to write interpretations for each Core Value.

    Volunteers must be active ALA Members.  Please note that filling out this form indicates your interest to the ALA Executive Board and does not guarantee an appointment.  The ALA Executive Board will make the final appointments to the Working Groups.  The deadline is Thursday, February 29, 2024.
