This 2019 Fall Virtual Forum II webinar will focus on working with patrons experiencing homelessness and trauma while keeping you safe at your workplace. Details are below and in the attached flyer.     Title: How to better serve our patrons experiencing homelessness and trauma

    Presenters, Dayra Gonzalez, Senior Library Service Specialist at the Houston Public Library and Agnes Ho, Director of Student Wellbeing Office Rice University.

    Dayra and Agnes will discuss working with library patrons experiencing homelessness and traumatic experiences. They will examine the connection between homelessness and trauma, provide an overview of the impact of trauma, and explore how trauma-informed approaches can be implemented in a library setting.
