    Dear all,

I'm writing to share the details of the ACH 2024 virtual conference which will be held November 6-8, 2024Registration closes October 30th. The preliminary program is available (and subject to change). There's lots of good libraries-related content, including the launch of the DH in Libraries Working Group (see Session 8A)!

    About the Conference
Amid rapid societal and technological transformations and historic elections worldwide, ACH fosters dialogue, spaces, and solidarity on equity and justice across local, transborder, and global contexts. ACH 2024 underscores the importance of addressing societal challenges in the digital humanities and beyond, such as racial and gender discrimination, while also highlighting the ramifications of AI and environmental crises. Join us in navigating diverse political milieus and shaping a virtual conference that is just and inclusive.

ACH2024 features more than fifty sessions spanning a broad range of disciplines, topics, methods, and digital humanities approaches. The schedule (subject to change) is available on the conference website. Registered attendees can view the full details, along with session links (forthcoming) in ConfTool.

New to the conference this year are Regional Hubs. These hubs will support smaller, more localized events, related to the larger conference but centered in specific regions. Each regional hub will be hosted independently by local institutions but in conversation with the major conference, and hosts were encouraged to be creative about how these regional hubs connect with the ACH 2024 Conference. For more details and a list of the seven hubs for this year see: https://ach2024.ach.org/regional-hubs/

    Keynote
Join us Wednesday, November 6 from 2:45pm-4:45pm Central Time for our Keynote: "Local and Global Digital Social Justice: A conversation with K.J. Rawson and T-Kay Sangwand." Amid rapid societal and technological transformations and historic elections worldwide, ACH fosters dialogue, spaces, and solidarity on equity and justice across local, transborder, and global contexts. We envision this panel as a conversation and call-to-action about how we can use our individual and collective DH skills to build alternative justice-oriented infrastructures, spaces, and communities. We seek to explore our roles and responsibilities as members of the DH community in caring for ourselves, our students, our institutions, and each other.

On behalf of ACH, we hope you will be able to join us. Registration closes October 30th and can be found on the conference website: https://ach2024.ach.org/registration/

    Happy to answer any questions,
