I noticed being in ENSULIB section of IFLA now ... and watching the live IFLA streaming, that SDGs (
sustainable development goals) are talked about in every area /group/committee - not just
ENSULIB. example - The
IFLA Public Library award for design winners have to apply SDGs to their buildings. but I do not see, hear, read about this in the USA - rarely. Even the clip from IFLA keynote
Speaker: Ambassador David Donoghue, Former Permanent Representative of Ireland to the United Nations, speaks of ALL countries implementing SDG (clip here Inspire Keynote: How the SDGs can Change Your Life) but I do not see that here in the USA in libraries >>>> do others? is this happening and I am just missing it or its not promoted? love to hear more on this from y'all!
