Hi! last day in October to post about this :) we as well work on our campus work directly with our campus recycling folks. we have a rep on the sustainability advocates campus group as well. (we are hoping to work on composting but that has been challenging for sure!) and our OSUsed (surplus) is fabulous and robust so we are lucky! I wanted to mention the amazing work done at Binghamton University (NY) libraries - recycling in amazing ways. They do a lot of free terraCycle recycling too. definitely worth checking out their site: https://libraryguides.binghamton.edu/sustainability/terracycle

Hi All,
We recently met with the person who coordinates all recycling on campus. We were aware of and participating in 90% of the recycling opportunities currently available. We did find out about the ability to recycle eWaste. We now have a bin to put electronic things that cannot go to our salvage/resale department.
So I would say that what works is to communicate with your organization-wide recycling department
