We are reaching out to you to invite you to submit a manuscript for consideration in our book tentatively entitled "Academic Libraries and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals: Global Challenges and Opportunities in Library and Partnerships" (contract signed with Emerald Publishing, Advances in Academic Libraries).

We have identified a gap in the literature regarding the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) within academic libraries, and are addressing this by publishing a compilation of work being carried out globally in this regard. For more information about the UN SDGs, please visit URL:  https://sdgs.un.org/goals

Please consider providing a chapter for the book. We are organizing the book into chapters based on each of the 17 UN SDGs, and each chapter can be up to 3,000 words (excluding references).

We will appreciate if you send us the following by the deadline of April 30, 2024:

    Title:

    Authors (and Affiliation):

    Abstract (up to 500 words):

We will get back as soon as possible with comments and the go-ahead for submitting the first version of your manuscript. We would like you to organize your manuscript representing your case study in terms of the following sections: introduction, about the case study and context, collaborators and partners, challenges, and outcomes.

The attached flier explains this in more detail.

Please feel free to get back with any questions etc. during this process.
