    On behalf of the Video Trust webinar committee, we are reaching out to the SRT for panel participation for our upcoming webinar (aka coffee chat) on the subject of sustainability.  We are looking at the field of film and cinema and media studies, as well as physical media and sustainable consumption.  There are 2 confirmed panelists, Laura Marks from Simon Fraser U in Vancouver, and Jason Livingston, freelance media artist and faculty - they did a presentation for the Society of Cinema and Media Studies in 2021.  They will be sharing about their article, link to article

    Laura and Jason are great; and I think as you glance at their paper, you will find it all quite fascinating.  But does the SRT have thoughts on this?  Let me know, I'd love to have a third voice in the mix.

    The April webinar (Earth month) is scheduled for Thursday, April  20, 2023, 2:00-3:00pm EST.
