The Call Number with American Libraries podcast invites SustainRT to participate in an upcoming episode!
The May episode centers on sustainability in libraries. For one of the segments, the podcast hosts were hoping to feature members of SustainRT in a compilation of 30-second audio clips describing a sustainability practice you have at your libraries. For examples of previous episodes, please visit this link: https://americanlibrariesmagazine.org/tag/al-podcast/. The Baltimore episode in particular had a similar segment where they invited Maryland school librarians to share their favorite parts of Baltimore culture: https://americanlibrariesmagazine.org/blogs/the-scoop/call-number-podcast-good-morning-baltimore/.
To accomplish this, Call Number with American Libraries is asking members to submit their audio clips via email by Friday, April 26.
If you're interested:
- In a maximum 30-second length audio clip, please:
- Start by introducing yourself, including your full name, your title, and your workplace or location
- Answer: What is an example of a sustainability practice you follow at your library or institution? (Feel free to go in as much detail as you'd like in the time allotted)
- There's no need to have a fancy recording setup. Using your phone or laptop's voice recorder in a quiet room will do!
- When your clip is ready, email it to Diana Panuncial directly at dpanuncial@ala.org with "Call Number SustainRT clip from (full name)" or something of that nature as a subject line.
- Send your recording as an email attachments or DropBox/Google Drive link
Please keep in mind that they may not be able to include every submission. Deadline to receive all clips is Friday, April 26.
