What does a sustainable school library really look like, and how do we build one without burning ourselves out? Join K–12 librarians from across the country for a relaxed virtual "social hour" hosted by SustainRT's Education and Programming Committee and Kelsey LaPort. Together, we'll swap ideas, share what's working (and what isn't), and explore how sustainability can shape everything from programming and purchasing, to collection development and inclusive advocacy. This isn't a presentation, it's a conversation.

The September social hour will focus on creating a Library of Things in a school library with our special guest, Hazel Onsrud. Hazel is a librarian at Curtis Memorial Library, where she works on community programming and collection development, including an extensive Library of Things focused on the Sustainable Development Goals. She serves on the International Library of Things Mutual Aid Group, the Board of Shareable, and the Advisory Board of the Sustainable Libraries Initiative.
I've attached a graphic Kelsey made - please fee free to share with any librarians you think may be interested in joining!
